Elliot - 4 months old

It is so crazy how time flies. Elliot is 4 months old already and he is growing like crazy too. He is 17 lbs 13 ozs and 25 3/4 inches long. He is in the 95-97th percentile for both his height and weight and I think his head circumference is the the 90th percentile. So, he is well balanced. I also have started feeding him rice cereal and he is not too thrilled with it. He is also starting to try and roll over. He gets about half way over and then goes right back to his back. I sure am going to miss the days of him staying right where I put him. He smiles all the time but especially when I start smiling at him.

Ashley didn't want to be a part of the picture, but I'm sure glad that Barbie did!

It's all about the little things

While we were driving down to Ephraim for Snow College graduation for my mom, we saw this...
It's the Sanpete County Bookmobile Library. Guy and I got such a kick out of this that we had to turn around and take a picture. We laughed for a good 5 minutes or so. I guess that only in Sanpete can you have a bookmobile that isn't exactly mobile.


Graduation was a blast and we are all so proud of my mom for finally getting her degree. Tam and I tried to make her graduation just as special as she did for us all those years ago. Tam picked up a beautiful arrangement of flowers that we gave to her after she got her diploma and I picked up a graduation cake to enjoy after dinner that night. Elliot sat through the entire commencement without fussing too much. Tamara had to hold Ashley the whole time and Amelia kept asking when it would be over. Amelia was hoping to be able to sit with Grandma after she got her diploma but there wasn't enough room so she was really sad that she had to stay with us. The day started out raining but the sun was shining by the time we got back outside. Tamara and I also had a great time wrapping my mom's graduation gift while crouched in the back of her Jeep since it was raining again and the gift was too big to sneak into the cabin. It would have been an hilarious sight to see. The moral of the story is...finish your degree while you are young and you have the energy and not nearly as many distractions.
